PERSONAL PROFILE

Dr. Jinan Deng obtained her Bachelor's degree and Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Beihang University and the University of Central Florida (US), respectively, in 2010 and 2017. Her research focuses on design and fabrication of stimuli-responsive interfaces for biomedical sensing applications. She has been funded projects supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), and Postdoctoral Science Foundation of China. She has published over 20 papers in journals such as Chemical Communications, ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, and Optics Express. She has been granted one national invention patent. Current courses taught by Dr. Deng include Medical Sensing and Health Information Detection (undergraduate), Biomedical Sensing and Information Detection (graduate), etc.
